The Heat- Why???

Explain to me why the following happened in the Bulls-Heat game #1....

LeBron wears a pair of shoes he has NEVER worn before. It was his special Nike "MVP" editions.  At half time he changes into his regular shoes. Where is a player's focus when they are doing that?

James, Allen, and Wade all had plays where they missed a shot, stayed to plead their case the ref that they were fouled. While they were pleading their case, the Bulls were scoring on a 5 vs. 4 fastbreak.

At the end of the game with about 20 seconds to go, only Allen tried to get the ball and tried to foul. The rest just stood and gave up.

Why did the Heat do this? My answer is that all three of these acts were acts of arrogance. The game was not about winning or team, it was about look at me- I am the MVP. It could not be that a Bull's defender made a player or that one of the Heat stars actually made a bad shot-- it had to be a foul. And fouling and playing the game out until the buzzer is not something stars should have to do.

Will the Bulls win the series? Probably not, but they have surprised us over and over with something called toughness and team work. I just know the Bulls are fun to watch because of how they play the game, while the Heat too often represent all that is wrong with pro athletes.
